Last February, an international seat sale was announced by Cebu Pacific. We wanted to book a flight to Singapore because of 3 things: (1) Yza is excited to have her new passport stamped for the first time, (2) I haven’t been to Singapore yet, and (3) I wanted to buy a zoom lens for my camera. So we booked our flights for June and paid around ~Php2.9k each for a round trip ticket. Not bad.
Four and a half months later, we were on a plane bound for Singapore.
Two rainy Mondays ago, it was a holiday so Yelie and I decided to have a nice "date day." We didn't want to waste away the beautiful day so we went out for brunch, coffee and a movie. :)
We decided to eat at this cute diner along Burgos Street (right smack in the red light district of Makati) called the Filling Station.
"Filling" Good!
ABOUT US
HI! We're Eliel and Yza.
Welcome to our blog!
We are newlyweds trying to figure out life.
We've been together for 9 years before getting married in 2016.
On our third year as a couple, we started this blog to document our adventures, milestones, dates, and random thoughts. Throughout the years, it has mostly become our travel diary. Because we're very forgetful people, this has helped us relive some of our favorite memories. Now that we're married, we're on a new adventure and we can't wait for what's in store for us.
Someday, we plan to compile these blog posts into a coffee-table book in case one of us gets Alzheimer's (The Notebook) or amnesia (50 First Dates). *knocks on wood*
